From a sign on a lot to a clearer answer.
A construction fence or an empty parcel can raise a lot of questions. Start with a location and follow the public record before treating a possible project as a certainty.
Identify the property.
Write down the street address, cross streets or parcel number. Save any project name or application number shown on the sign.
Find the current record.
Use Clark County planning resources to locate the application, agenda item or decision. Check the document date and whether revised plans exist.
Separate the stages.
A proposal, an approval and active construction are different milestones. An opening date should come from the operator or a current project announcement.
Have a site you want us to look into?
Send the location and the question you want answered. Include a photo of the project sign or an official link if you have one.
