Begin with a route you can repeat easily. Notice crossings, shade, available rest areas and where you would turn back. A useful daily walk does not have to be a summit hike.

For cycling, review posted permissions on the exact path. Slow down around pedestrians and choose a route appropriate to your ability.

Before a group gathering.

The regional park and the association-maintained parks have different operators. Confirm reservation requirements and permitted activities with the appropriate operator before inviting a group.
